AMC’s Certified Nurse Midwives are this year’s Dr. Garry Gardner Health Care Provider Awardee!
On Tuesday, June 7, 2016, Alivio Medical Center’s Certified Nurse Midwives were recognized for their hard-work, commitment to their patients and for helping give birth to healthy babies at EverThrive Illinois’ Annual Meeting at Maggiano’s in Chicago. Alivio’s midwives are this year’s Dr. Garry Gardner Health Care Provider Awardee!
Garry Gardner, MD, was one of the founding partners of DuPage Pediatrics, Darien, Illinois, where he practiced for 40 years and was a founding Board member of the Illinois Maternal and Child Health Coalition. He received many awards for his leadership throughout the years, including being named Pediatrician of the Year from the Illinois Chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics.
