Beyond Healthcare

Our commitment to the community extends far beyond providing healthcare services. Alivio leads and is regularly involved with numerous community outreach programs.  Our different healthcare teams are committed to  educating Alivio families and patients on their long-term health, providing them with tools and support on how to access health insurance and understand benefits enrollment and eligibility. 

We offer a number of specialized programs, from health and well-being services focused on women, infants and children to a meal program and various activities from dance to aerobic classes at our senior satellite center located inside Casa Maravilla, a senior housing center adjacent to Alivio’s Morgan clinic. 

Alternatively, our case managers in the  family case management program educate and counsel our community on everything from finding schools with GED programs to assisting with immigration issues and offering healthy cooking demonstrations along with breastfeeding classes.

Our Compañeros en Salud (Companions in Health) serve as equally committed partners in providing health guidance to our patients living with diabetes. You can read more about our peer support program here.
