What is our Family Planning Program?
The Family Planning Program combines different options for contraception accessibility, STI testing and treatment, and other screening related services sponsored by the state government. Our program allows us to provide dedicated voluntary family planning health care services and supplies by screening people through HFS Family Program, Illinois Department of Public Health (Title X), and Family Planning Presumptive Eligibility (FPPE)

Anyone 12 years old and older that can conceive a pregnancy is eligible for services, regardless of insurance coverage or immigration status. Coverage under the program depends on a number factors including family income and the number of people that income supports. See if you are eligible for any of these programs here.

The program pays for a complete physical exam, routine tests such as pap smears and testing for sexually transmitted infections. It also covers counseling about family planning choices and all the FDA-approved birth control methods, such as condoms, pills, shots, IUDs, vasectomies, or implants.
